Awwww, had a great weekend with
jen_nsync_landl and
babygotbass. We did a lot of shopping, eating and watching movies. LOL
Thursday night: Erin made dinner (yummy) and we watched a couple of movies and stayed up late.
Friday: Shopping, shopping, shopping. We went to the mall and then went to "the Valley" for more shopping. We were supposed to go see Dr. Zhivegas at Ameristar but by the time we had dinner and went to the Valley, it was kinda too late so we decided to watch more movies. LOL
Saturday: Basically stayed in for a little bit and I had to run to Best Buy for something before we met up with Erin's friend Susan and
kicksav29 for dinner at Olive Garden. Then, we were off to the Blues game (minus Barb). GREAT seats. I don't think I've ever been that close at a hockey game. Made the win that more enjoyable. Susan took Erin with her, so it was just me and Jen left. I think we watched another movie or something when we got back. It was pretty funny trying to figure out how we all met each other, by the way. I can't remember who I met Erin or Barb through on LJ (but I know it was LJ). Not sure if it was Vicki/Chris for both of them?? Probably.
Oh and can I tell you about how bad the fog/haze was Friday and Saturday nights? I think it was the most dense I've ever driven in. Yuck!
Sunday: Jen hadn't seen Avatar, yet so we went to the mall beforehand and then saw Avatar. I really do love that movie...it was my second time seeing it. Had a later dinner and crashed back at home again.
Monday: I took Jen to Best Buy and she finally bought herself a laptop and an iPod Nano even. I was so proud of her. I got iTunes set up on the laptop and hopefully she'll be ok figuring out some of the rest as she goes along. LOL I'm sure she will.
Such a fun weekend. It seemed to last a really long time, though. I feel like I've been gone from work for over a week.
Tomorrow night I'm having dinner with my ex-management team. Can't wait!! I get to see my cheffy pooh, which makes me happy.
Got interesting news from Dena the other day about her job situation. It's good for her but probably not so good for me. She's going to be leaving to do what her real job is supposed to be (General Area Manager) because of some more changes going on in the district again. That means they need to hire a new food service director. I really need to get out of AB.
