At my grandfather's house right now, for all who want to know. So I saw the MTV movie awards. It was creepy and boring, but mostly just annoying. Appreciated seeing all the "Vote for Kerry!" stuff people were wearing. The Frodo/Sam love was funny, too, as was Sean Astin's remark: "And about me and Elijah? Call me. Elijah, I left four messages!" Sort of ties in to that coversation I was having at TWoP about Elijah and his Big Gay Man-Purse. Heh. "Freestyle walking".
Super Secret Message for Sadie: So Sarah is totally fucked up finacially if you'd care to know. Give her a call.

Movie Series 5 from the community "Fannish5"
1. What is the best movie series in terms of consistency and quality?
Hrm. I'd have to say the Silence of the Lambs trilogy. I haven't seen Hannibal, but I liked Silence and Red Dragon. The tone and acting were even, and the quality was always very high.
2. What is the worst movie series?
Any of the horror movies that go on forever like Halloween
3. What, if any, movie sequels surpassed the original?
I actually liked The Crow: City of Angels better than the original. And Jurassic Park 3 was definitely more tightly plotted than the first in terms of action. Oh, and the special effects were better.
4. What movie series should have stopped before now or long before it did (e.g., Star Trek, Star Wars, Friday the 13th, Scream, Alien, Nightmare on Elm Street, Die Hard, American Pie)?
All comedy movies should not have sequels. Case in point: Austin Powers.
5. What is your favorite movie series
I like The Crow, Silence of the Lambs, and Jurassic Park all equally.
