(no subject)
I am supposed to be studying for a test that I have tomorrow morning, but I feel confident enough at the moment, that I can take a break.
This past weekend was awesome. Though I didn't do much for St. Pat's day, I did dress up real cute and had a shot. LOL That's it. I drank more the Thursday before then I did the day of the Irish. Oh well. The reason was because Robert was here. He had come into town and was exhausted so we went back to the room and slept. Saturday was amazing. Robert and I went to see STOMP and it fucking rocked. I loved it and I wanna see it again. I have been drumming on shit ever since. LOL We also saw V is for Vendetta before that and I liked that movie alot. I would see that again in a heart beat.
Sunday was the big day. Robert's family and my family (parents and g-parents) met for the first time. It started out with the families sitting on each end of the table, but once we started talking and ate, we spread out and soon my grandma was talking to Helen and grandpa was talking to Dave and Robert's dad Art. Our moms and my dad were talking and it was fun. I am so glad that they liked each other, which they all told me at different times. My grandma has asked me for Helen's address so they can write and stay in contact. hehehe My mom even said she would like to get together again sometime soon. This is so good. Very good. Robert left soon after the dinner since we were there for 2 and 1/2 hours, starting at 2 pm we didn't have much time left before i had to go to lecture for my art history class.
Overall a really good weekend.
This coming week I have the test tomorrow morning, and then the play the end of this week. Thursday thru Saturday. And i am glad it is almost done. I need my time back. Plus it wasn't as much fun as last year. Though I had a good time, it wasn't the same as next year. Thus I am glad it's done. Plus either Sunday or next Monday I am getting my hair cut and I am super pumped. I can't wait. I think it'll turn out way cute. Shoulder length and layered, nothing to drastic, but a nice change.
The next few weeks are going to be good. I have a bacholorette party and bridal shower for Beth. And the guys are moving back into the Frat house at Kettering, which weekends there and seeing the guys again. The end of hte year is coming. I have a few more tests and a paper in one classes and then I will be done. I get to sign up for my classes on the 10th and I am hoping to get everything I want. Shouldn't be a problem, I am a senior and they do overrides usually I think.
So a lot to look forward to, and I can't wait!
