had an absolutely wonderful thanksgiving. SK's parents made yummy delicious goods, and they even got me my beloved canned cranberry sauce. his step-sister, her husband, and their three babies were there, who were so much fun to play with. we headed out in the evening to see "role models", which was pretty hilarious. a very lovely day. this year, i am extremely thankful for my incredibly wonderful boyfriend (and his awesome family).
also got to see the final dress of his show, which is really cute and fun, and he is fantastic in it. had a night "out on the town", which, in strasburg, VA, is just hilarious. took a walk in the woods. ate bad food at denny's. and of course spent lots of good loafing time. another quality trip. i will leave out the nightmare-ish chinatown bus trip back home because i am trying to block it out.
so i have applied to be a part of a habitat for humanity mission in el salvador this march. if i am accepted, i will need to raise some fund-age to get there. there is a fund-raising website where people can donate directly to the program fee, which is about $1200, and any additional funds donated there go to the organization, so i need to raise some cash on my own to help pay for my flight. i was thinking...i have incredibly talented and resourceful friends...why not throw a party? i just need some donations:
