(no subject)
so i'm all moved and sort of settled in athens. my mom had to leave the morning after the move to head to georgia for some family legal bullshit, so it's just been me and larry. larry likes to eat dinner at 5 pm and watch american idol. this does not suit me at all. i joined a gym for a month, but it doesn't open until tomorrow. i tried to sleep last night without the aid of sleeping pills or xanax to no avail. tossed and turned all night. won't be trying that again. larry popped into my room at 10 am yelling about how it was noon and my room was a mess. hi, i just moved in a couple of days ago, piss off.
i'm going to get my digital camera and take pictures of the town tomorrow. you people won't believe me until you see it. there's a log cabin on the main road of town. like, house, house, house, log cabin, house, house. because that's appropriate. i went to the grocery store and they don't have brown rice, or salmon. but the fish guy told me "they gots them a new fish manager and he's tryin to figger out what sells, and he'll let him know that they need some SALmon."
larry and i went to eat at the country club last night and everyone in there thought i was my mother and she had just changed her hair. now, i realize we look alike, but i'm fucking 27 years old. she's FIFTY FOUR.
i leave for san fran to see my favorite peeps a week from tomorrow. cannot get here soon enough.
