The longest weekend
Sooooo... last week was thanksgiving. no school on thursday, or friday.. Then theres a freak snow storm on sunday. no school monday. and its almost 6am tuesday, and theres no school becuase theres ice everywhere!! so im on my sixth day of the weekend. and theres no school on friday becuase it was a planned no school day.. so at the most im looking at a two day school week.
and i cant sleep. i went to bed at 1am last night and just woke up at 5. im drinking hot coco becuase its flippin freezing in my house. i dont know why but its especially cold in my room. my mom just walked in and was all "... its cold in here" and just walked away. i sleep in pajama pants, soccer socks, a tshirt, and this old fleece robe thing. its cold.
there are people out on the roads still coming home from the seahawks game, which ended around 9pm last night. they just cant move on the ice. i had work last night and i couldnt even push carts out on the ice becuase ide just slip around. would have fallen on my ass a few times if i wasnt grabbing onto a cart. sunday night it was pooring snow and it was pointless being outside.. so another courtesy clerk came outside, and we just had a total snowball war. got paid to play in the snow for an hour in the dark with a dude who is pretty cute XD
its suposed to snow more tonight, and the temp isnt going about 32.. so the ice isnt going anywhere. its not even december, lol. i dont know if ill be able to drive to work tonight, theres a crap load of hills between me and the store. i could walk the few miles if i had to, but i dont know if im just that committed. plus this weather has made the grocery REALLY slow. no one goes shopping when theres ice.
