After a clearly questionable start to my day, the elevated mood in which I sit in front of my computer is shocking. The start of the day was one of miserableness, concern if I could venture through and get beyond. Gaining support of those who I expected it from the least gave me a bit of hope of surviving it.
I flipped through my planner and realized an event I have waited for (for 1.5 years now) was an hour away. This enthusiasm carried over to my last tutoring session with an individual who filled me with pride as his true self is emerging. After essential office conversation of extinguishing fires off we went to the West Side Lounge, a wonderful place of atmosphere, wonderful food and pleasant service. Conversation covered everything, from students, family, things of importance and life.
She is my “Morrie.”
