I have five female best friends.
And two male best friends.
The first female i've been best friends with since 1st grade. No joke. I'm sure you all know who she is. She is probably the one who i'll call first when I get engaged. There's no question that we'll keep in touch with each other even after we retire.
The second I met in 3rd grade. We've been best friends since 4th grade. People say we're together all the time, which isn't far from the truth. That finishing each others sentence thing happens a lot.
The thirdS since DI in 4th grade. One brings out an insane side of me. She confides in me like no other. We're way different. But somehow it works. It works really well.
The fouth i've hung out with since 7th grade, but we became really close in the past year or so. We have the same little interests in random things that hardly anyone else shares. She's a good person to call and be like "hey dude, i'm bored, i'm coming over in 5 mintues."
The first male I've known since 6th grade. We've been close for like two years. He makes me laugh. A lot. And he can make me feel better when i'm wayyy down in the dumps. And he makes me feel pretty. :-) His girlfriend is one of my favorite people ever, too.
The second I didn't meet until 8th grade. But he's just awesome enough to not require such history as the others. I don't really know exactly what to say about him. We just... click? He's one of those all-around good guys. My dad approves.
A couple of these friends (one especially) is very passionate in letting everyone know we're each others one and only best friend. I can't just pick one. It doesn't work that way. I don't know many others who have been close with so many people for this long. I'm a really lucky girl.
End of story.
