I'm bored and I've reached my limits on Big Bang revisions and additions for today. Plus, I have no interest in engaging with work this afternoon

Waiter!Jared timestamp: Daily SpecialkelleighApril 26 2011, 19:51:01 UTC
Jared watches Jensen spin his fork through the long strands of whole-wheat vermicelli, pieces of sun-dried tomatoes and spinach all caught up in one tasty bite. He yawns.
"You know, it's kind of hard to eat like this," Jensen says.
"Like what?"
Jensen raises his right shoulder, disturbing Jared's comfortable slouch. He tucks right back into Jensen's side and grumbles. "Stop moving."
"I can't bring my fork up," Jensen laughs. "And this smells amazing, seriously. You're killing me."
Knowing Jensen's lust for food is outstripped only by his complete adoration of Jared, he concedes the point. Plus, Jensen's coming off a long shift at the hospital and Jared feels a little bad to be smothering the guy. Dragging himself out of the booth, Jared pulls a protesting Jensen out with him, and then slides back in first.
He pats the seat next to him and Jensen smiles. Now leaning into Jensen's left side, his boyfriend can eat in peace and Jared can soak up the comfort.
"Why are you so tired?" Jensen asks between bites of the new pasta dish Jared had thrown together. "Long shift?"
"Pulled a double," Jared says, yawning again. The kitchen of 81 East is already closed for the night but the managers are having a pow-wow over by the host stand and there are a few servers hanging around until the bar closes. Everyone's used to Jared sneaking his boyfriend in for an after-hours dinner whenever Jensen works late. "But I barely slept at all last night. Aldis brought his girlfriend over again and they were up watching some action movie marathon."
"That's the third night this week."
Jared sighs. "I know. I think they're getting crazy-serious."
"Nothing wrong with that."
Jared sees the grin on Jensen's face, hopefully put there by him and not his rich asiago cream sauce.
He lets Jensen finish a few more bites, loving the content little moans Jensen makes after he swallows. He could fall asleep right here, but his bosses wouldn't appreciate it. Jared might have worked his way up to being head waiter, but spending the night in a back booth might be pushing it. Even the obscene stack of cash tucked in his apron isn't enough to cure his blurry mind or heavy eyelids.
Jensen sets his fork down. "You're amazing." He ducks his chin down and lays a soft kiss on Jared's forehead. Jared tries not to purr like a kitten, but Jensen brings out the sappiness in him. "That was orgasmic."
"Really?" Jared mumbles. "Good, 'cause that might be the only orgasm you're getting tonight."
"Aw," Jensen mocks him. "You're not gonna put out? That's okay, baby. I still love you."
"You'd better."
"I'm stuffed," Jensen says, tossing his napkin on the table. "I'm gonna go get a box, hang on."
Jared lets him go. Jensen knows where practically everything in the restaurant is anyway. The kitchen staff wouldn't even be fazed if Jensen walked in and asked for something -- they all know him.
His eyes are dropping further when Jensen comes back. He watches Jensen pack up the pasta and disappear again with the dirty bowl and silverware.
"I want you to come home with me," Jensen says when he comes back. "You're not getting enough sleep and--"
"Sleep's the plan," Jared says, letting Jensen yank him gently out of the booth. They wave goodbye to the staff, Jared leaning heavily on Jensen's shoulder as they make it out to the parking lot.
Jensen stops them beside his car. "You didn't let me finish. I want you to come home with me tonight, but then I don't want you to leave."

"Gonna make me spell it out?" Jensen asks with a smile. "I want you to move in with me, Jared, and I think now's the right--"
Jensen doesn't get any farther than that. Whatever energy Jared's got left goes into kissing his boyfriend senseless, hoping it suffices as the biggest YES! he can muster.
"Good--I mean, awesome!" Jensen laughs. "You and me, we're gonna be great at this."
"Mmmhmm." Jared wants to agree more eloquently, but he can't stop kissing the corner of Jensen's lips. It's his favorite spot, his alone.
"Let me drive us home, and then we'll come back and get your car in the morning, okay?"
"Mmmhmm."
"You're hopeless," Jensen says affectionately as they separate to get in the car. "And I really, really love you."
Jared squeezes Jensen's hand tightly over the center console.
"Hey, Jen? You know when I said I wasn't putting out?"

"I think you might've changed my mind."
