[TM Designs] Spring/Summer 2009

The pieces I made during the end of May and so far this month. More simple designs that feature cool stones rather than any unique ways of putting them together. I've been trying to dedicate some time every week to at least *brainstorm* or put together random ideas, even if nothing comes out of them, because I don't want to go months without working on jewelry as has been known to happen!

These were just some wicked cool stones! Jet Swarovski crystals, Black Quartzite, and sterling silver.

More of a simple design, a commissioned piece. Opalite [which doesn't photograph well since it's soooo reflective - it's actually more opaque], Swarovski crystals, and sterling silver.

Jasper Pendant, Amethyst stones, Swarovski crystals and sterling silver. I just really love making purple things right now and this one was simple and pretty ;)

Dyed Quartz and sterling silver. This one didn't photograph well, so I chose the one that ended up with colors closest to reality.

Labradorite pendant [which ranges from dark grey to olive green with reflective opal-like flashes], and two strands of pearls [one freshwater, one Swarovski] interspersed with sterling silver.

Mother of Pearl pendant, Green Quartz stones, and sterling silver.

Large nuggets of White Turquoise, Smoky Topaz faceted stones, and sterling silver. It's heavy, but it's really gorgeous.

Just something I put together with a ton of various old Jared beads I had laying around. It's double stranded, and I messed up the back [but it's mine, so it's not a big deal]. The beads are such cool colors though.

I started making multi-strand beaded necklaces to use up some of the various beads I have laying around. Each of these are four-stranded, really light and easy to wear, and can be twisted for a different look. They're not very expensive, and are a combination of Czech glass beads, sterling silver elements, Swarovski crystals, pearls, and seed beads in colors to match.

Added elements in this one are Mother of Pearl beads, frosted glass, and vintage glass beads [I had some old necklaces from my grandmothers].

Some frosted glass and vintage beads in this one as well. I love the pinks ;)
I need to choose some more, cooler styles. Just because I like simple designs doesn't mean they're everyone's cup o' tea! I just put together a multi-strand necklace in reds and purples, and bought this amazing half-strand of gorgeous purple striped beads [similar to the ones in the first picture].

Favorites? Colors I should try mixing together? ;)

Fic wise? Still on my Big Bang, and abandoning that every so often to work on Smith/Wesson's first hunt when I need a break!
