The Embrace of Nature
For the Celtic soul, no blinding light on an arid, Damascene road can hold sway over the heart - not for long. We are most truly at home with the GREENESS; that velvet lushness which gives us our ancestral identities. And this is the gist of our Spirituality : we choose the Earthy, direct source of all truths, found within the Land and Creatures which abide there. They give us their spirit and substance; we become part of them and even become them. Unlike the faiths' of the desert which deride the Natural world as something to "overcome and transcend", we instead, honor and give thanks for Natures enlivening gifts. We see ourselves as indivisible from Nature - never for a moment, "above" the fray. We are all at home when tucked within Brighids' Green, Verdent Mantle.
