Yeah, I had a nice birthday month. I planned 4 activities throughout the month to celebrate and I got to do 3 of the 4 so I'm content.
The first week, I went on a short road trip to Louisville to see my favorite wrestler, Mick Foley. He does a stand-up routine talking about his days in wrestling around the country (and the world). I drove down after work and saw him in a nightclub there. It was very awesome.
The second week, the WWE held Monday Night Raw in Indianapolis. I've basically been getting back into wrestling since The Rock came back on the scene. There's still some great talent, but he was my main catalyst for going. Alas, he wasn't there. But The Shield (who has The Rock's fine-ass cousin Roman Reigns in it), The Undertaker, and The New Age Outlaws were there.
Even though The Rock wasn't there, it was still a great show. I got to see The Undertaker in person. And since no one knows how many more years he's going to wrestle, I feel like I got to see a living legend. Something I hope to get to brag about for years.
The third thing I planned for my birthday was going to see the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre perform here in Indianapolis. Their show was the day after my birthday and it was a fantastic experience. I even wrote a blog post about it.
Thanks for the warm welcome. I think I need to lay down now. I haven't eaten much today, but I'm too lazy to make something. :-) Hope to see you around.
