Thanks for the B-day wishes! I had a really nice one. The hub took me out to brunch and to the zoo and got me the most awesome Doctor Who t-shirt and Adipose stress doll. I've got a pic of it up on my journal.

Your kitty is gorgeous and sounds like a bug-killer extraordinaire! We could use one of those about now. I finally got fed up with spiders the size of frickin' golf balls trying to crawl on my toes after my shower that I set off three bug bombs last week. Thankfully, I have not seen one since. There was much swearing and flailing to be seen when that happened.

I'm sorry the people at your job suck dung through a crazy-straw. There's really no excuse for that kind of asshattery. I'm holding good thoughts for you to find something better and get back to LA!

I'm also sorry your Miami trip didn't go so well. Can't say I was overly impressed with Orlando. Tampa was alright, but people in Orlando were just rude. Not so much with being home to the Happiest Place on Earth.

I'm one of the ones that loves the Avengers. I saw it 7 times in the theater and the fanfic has eaten my brain. AO3 is a dangerous but lovely place to be. :) I've seen The Bourne Legacy 3 times in the theater so far. I've got a bit of thing for Jeremy Renner at the moment. Both movies inspired me enough to try writing in the fandoms, so I guess that's good, right? Haven't seen Expendables 2 yet. Providing we can get the house ready for the company that's coming late next week, we might see it this weekend. I only watched the Matt Bomer episode of the third season of Glee so far. I just haven't been in the right frame of mind to put up with Sue. Like you, I like the music, but the show itself makes me angry. We just discovered Suits and we love it. The writing is so well done. I think we're on ep 4 or 5 of the second season. Haven't watched Burn Notice since the 3rd season ended. Still keeping up with Castle, Warehouse 13, White Collar, and Leverage. We've also really gotten into Perception.
