A little premature cheer.
...'Cause I usually don't start this till after Thanksgiving, you know. But this morning on my bus to work, the bus driver, as she always does, made the announcement that "Gravier St. is the LAST STOP on O'Keefe...! There is NO LONGER a stop on Common St, next stop is Canal and Rampart!!!"
And some man, as always, hurried up to the bus driver, just to make sure he understood what the driver had just said. "So... I can still get off the bus at the old Woolworth's, right?" (which is the vacant building at the corner of Canal and Rampart Streets)
Awww. Woolworth's. So it made me think of the following viddy, the song of which I have been singing to myself all day now.
