What- no miracle ambush play?

Well I will say this about that:
I'm putting my money behind the guy who bet THAT point spread. Ahahahahaha!

To all my friends who left the Stuperdome early last night... You pussies.
What the hell were you thinking?
We have been waiting to see a victory like that for what- like, forty years or something? And all you can think of is the damn traffic on Poydras? Shame on you. Do you know what kind of message that sends to our Guys? "Oh yeah, well, we don't want to really see how beautifully our team can execute a brilliant play call. We don't want to celebrate the sweeping victory of our impeccable gladiators, our neighbors and icons. We just want to see good stats in the Times-Picayune tomorrow."
Tell y'all what; next time you want to leave an obviously winning game in the third -and for some people even the SECOND- quarter, come get me. I'm four blocks over the Claiborne overpass from the 'Dome; you'd still get home wicked early. I'll sit in your seat for the rest of the game, happily. So, I'd be willing to bet, would most of my neighbors. They'd even bring all the chicken and smoked sausage they were grilling. It'd be like a whole party.
In any case, I'm sure you could all hear us cheering from our block at the tops of our lungs. Cause we didn't turn the game off until after the interviews.

Anyway. Some quick stats cause they're fun (not that you jackals deserve it):

~ The point spread of our game last night was greater than the two-team total scores for each of the games played yesterday.

~ The Saints' point total tied the most in a game by any team since the AFL merged with the NFL in 1970.

~ The Saints previous franchise high for points in a game was 51 on three occasions, and our largest previous victory margin was 42 over Denver in 1988.

IOW- we are not an effing "fluke", people. We effing r0xx0rz.
.

woot!, saints, yay!!!, community, heroes, nfl, new orleans
