I love how this Deputy Sheriff thinks that just because there are no defensive wounds, the dogs couldn't possibly have been killed because of dog fighting. Fight-dog breeders will kill and/or dump dogs that "fail" the fight tests. Like if a dog is lifted by his ears and yelps, he's not a viable fight-dog.
