Okay- if any of you have ever been refused birth control or emergency bc (aka morning after pill etc) PLEASE fill out this survey. I'm just trying to pass the word along.
In an outrageous move to stop women from preventing unintended pregnancies, some extremist pharmacists in California, Georgia, New Hampshire, New York, Texas, West Virginia, and Wisconsin have refused to fill prescriptions for emergency contraception and other birth control pills and devices.
The reason? They say they don't "believe" in birth control. As you know, birth control is basic health care, and 95 percent of American women will use these medications and devices at some point in their lives. Restricting access to prescriptions is nothing short of discrimination.
What can YOU do? Tell us your story today. Help us compile stories of women who have been refused so we can show elected officials and policymakers that pharmacists' refusals are dangerous and unfair.
