Ah, the pleasures of motherhood
The many things that are funny about being a mother... About 800 times a day, Nathan tells me "Mommy, you hurt my feelings!"
He says " Awww, mommy, you have great singing."
He wants oatmeal and applesauce for EVERY meal. He says "mommy I'm SOOOO hungry" or thirsty or hot or cold or tired or whatever. And he says "I don't feel better." every time it's time to go to sleep, or "I'm sick, I need medicine."
He's still tiny. Still only weighs 31 lbs! And he eats me out of house and home. UGH. I don't know how I'll be able to afford to feed him when he's a teenager!!!! He won't stay in bed for all the tea in china. I take him back to bed about 15 times every night! ha ha. He's so adorable though. It's hard for me not to scoop him up and give him kisses every time. He's so sweet (and mean!)
This morning, he woke me up by pretending I was sleeping beauty. He kissed me and said WAKE UP MOMMY! I opened my eyes and said MY PRINCE! He said NO MOMMY, MIKE is your prince. :-) how sweet. He said "I miss Mike. And Danielle." I said "What about Dean?" He said "Oh yeah, I forgot about him. I like Dean too." Then he blew kisses to mike in iraq and said "Don't be sad mommy, mike will be here tomorrow!" I love that kid.
He drives me insane but I adore him. And life is so much calmer since Luke is out of the picture (for the time being.) Although when I come home from work sometimes, he tells me "Don't come home yet. You not supposed to come home. Go to work Mommy."
I can't wait till Mike comes home. I miss him so much. Not quite 1/2 way through, but almost there!
