i just had the MOST fun in a long time... i needed that.

i have been SO stressed, worried about the kids, worried about when i'll get to see the kids, worried about keeping up in school, worried about... other things. (*insert worry lines here*)
i got to go out with some friends to a gay bar and help for with a fundraiser to raise money for kids whose parents have HIV/AIDS. Definitely a worthy cause. i danced my not-so-little ass off, burned a HELL of a lot of calories (smaller-sized jeans, here i come!!!) and got to reunite with an old friend/former co-worker of mine from a call center i worked at last year. We laughed about how, of all the places we could have met up, it had to be in a gay bar.
i mean... the last memory he had of me was of me pole-vaulting over the wall of a locked bathroom stall door and losing points on the dismount when i fell off of the adjoining toilet seat after coming down.
"Hey, i THOUGHT you looked familiar... but the last memory i have of you is seeing you looking up at me from being on your backside on the tile floor of the women's bathroom!"
Yeah.
