Eternal Pet Peeve
I have two degrees, a B.S. Mathematics with a Concentration in Computational Mathematical Sciences and a B.A. Spanish.
Consider this oft occurring scenario...
"What's was your major?"
"Math and Spanish."
"Really!? Me too!! I minored in Spanish!"
My eternal pet peeve... a MINOR is NOT a MAJOR. I MAJORED in Spanish. I am titulada in español.
Lord Almighty. That is NOT a "me too!" I did not minor in Spanish like you did. Do you not understand the difference between a minor and a major?
My 7 extra classes certainly do. And I even took an additional 12 credit hours of Spanish in España that weren't even required.
Geeze.
