If all goes according to plan I should be in Frankfurt exactly 7 days from now getting ready to board a plane for Istanbul. Awesome.

But a somewhat related concern kept me awake most of last night... what if my professor decides to give us a test the one day I'll be missing this semester? Let's weight this out -- in class in Tempe or hiking the Ihlara Valley in Cappadocia, Turkey (nonrev God's approving). Hmmm... good thing this class doesn't really count for anything. I'm sure I'll figure something out.

Here's the tentative itinerary (11/21 - 11/30):

Fri: Evening flight PHX/LAX. Redeye LAX/MUC.
Sat: Evening flight MUC/IST. Night in Istanbul.
Sun: Day and night in Istanbul.
Mon: Morning flight to Nevsehir, Cappadocia. Day in Cappadocia. Night in Goreme.
Tue: Day in Cappadocia. Night in Goreme.
Wed: Either another day and night in Cappadocia or a morning flight back to Istanbul.
Thu: Depending on Wed, fly back to IST. Day and night in Istanbul.
Fri: Day and night in Istanbul.
Sat: Day and night in Istanbul.
Sun: Early, early, early flight back to Frankfurt. FRA/LAX then LAX/PHX.

I still need to see how all the flight loads look... I'm a little nervous about the return. But it should be an awesome time.
