International charity auctions
Hi,
I have been working now for a little over 1 year in an association in Belgium. We deal with the rehabilitation of a fragile, difficult community which is sometimes totally excluded from society.
During a team meeting, I suggested the crazy idea of organizing an international auction of celebrity and co items on Ebay in the end of October. I must confess that I never thought I would be taken seriously.
But the idea was accepted and I am now responsible for this project. I am contacting you all today, because maybe one or more of you work in the cinema/tv/music industry/restaurants etc...
We will put objects, or meetings etc...of celebrities. Dinners for 2 in known restaurants, Art etc.... in an international charity auction on Ebay. Some artists will also create something for us, as for example some Belgians comics artists will create a board dedicated specifically for our association, a Belgian comic gives us 2x2 places for one of his one man show with a meeting behind the scene...some known restaurants will give 1 dinner for 2.
So if you work in the industry or know someone who works in it. Please comment, all the comments will be hided to keep your informations private. You can also send me a pm if you prefer.
I repeat, it's international, so it's ok, if you live in USA, Canada, France, Australia, UK, etc...
My association really needs you to be able to continue working on our various projects and assist, at best a weakened communtity, your generosity will allow us to raise funds to continue our actions.
I accept all help possible, ideas etc...and also to create the buzz around this charity auction at the good moment.
