I am currently obsessed with
this song ("A Faded Star" by the Deadly Gentlemen, for those of you who like to know what you're getting into with YouTube links. Also, isn't that an awesome name for a band?). I heard it on the radio and was all, la, la, nice song, nice soothing voice and melody, decent rhythm. Wait, did the banjo and mandolin just start going double-time? Wait, did they just start going quadruple time? Oh, my god, that's totally some of the most awesome banjo and mandolin ever. Greg Liszt, formerly of Crooked Still, is the banjo player in question. And the rest of the album is quite good, too, but this song is really where it's at. It's great for driving to, too.
