So yea, I can't sleep. This is why I am up at 2:00 A.M. With an 11-month old, I should be asleep, because he will be waking up in about 5 hours. But, I can't. I have been at the hospital since 11:30 A.M. With Travis. The paramedics had to come and get him and take him to the E.R. What started out as the flu, turned out to be so much more. He went to the doctor last week, and they brushed it off as no big deal...just the flu. Gave him a shot of Fennigren and some cough medicine. Didn't get any better, just worse. Last night he started to get really bad. He was shaking and shivering, puking, coughing, and complaining that his wrist hurt. Well, hell yea it hurt. It swollen up like golf balls and blotches of redness all over it. I called Lisa to come stay with him, his gf, so i could take Cole to get his pics. I came back home, he was fine. This morning he tried to take a bath, got stuck in the bath tub because his whole body hurt and he couldnt walk or move to get out. Finally Derrick got him back in his room and into bed. This is when he became delusional. He couldnt move, walk, barely could speak. My Dad called the ambulance to come and get him. We arrived at E.R. at 11:30 and the finally amitted him at 6:00 P.M. He is ICU right now. He was still very dilusional, a lot of pain, and very violent. Took 2 cops, 2 male nurses, 2 female nurses, my dad, derrick, and my mom to hold him down, plus he was tied to the bed with restraints. He fought them on everything. He kept screaming for help, saying no one was helping he, he is in so much pain, he wants to leave...and alot of craziness that I wont put on here. They needed to get a cat scan, but of course bullheaded Travis wouldn't let them..dilusional and all. Finally after meds pumping into him for about 8 hours, they got one. They found abnormality in the back of his brain. Now, we are waiting for them to get a room ready at U.C. and they are taking him down there for more test, and just incase for emergency surgery. Oh yea to top it all off, he has pnemonia in his left lung, a blood infection, dehydration(severly), and something else starts with an "S", but there is no way I am going to attempt to spell it. Got the call about his abnormality at 12:00, its now 2:09 and still no word. I am exhausted, but can't sleep because I am so worried. As soon as my mom called my dad with the news, he broke down. Then of course I couldn't hold back the tears I broke down and ran downstairs. I can't let my dad see me cry...I am trying to be the strong one. Now, Derrick , Joel, and I are waiting to go to U.C. I have to give it to his gf Lisa, they have been together for about 2-3 months, and she hasn't left his side...which is great, because he has definately wanted her there.
