Well, PlusNet have mysteriously reconnected us 5 days early: we should have been connected after 12pm on Tuesday, but when Matt checked on Thursday it was already on... Well, it didn’t go quite as well as I’d’ve hoped, but it did go OK. Mine and Matt’s parents came and helped, and Phil and Simon W chipped in too (the former is helping Matt again this week). Y’know, for all the complaining I do about PlusNet, it’s got to be one of the best broadband providers (and I’m not just saying this because it says so on their website!). We are starting Ye Olde House Move today. Phil and Simon W are helping us cart the majority of our stuff (i.e. boxed things) in their cars, and Mum and Dad arrive tommorow with even more but still not all of my stuff in a van, for helping to move bookcases, sheds, that sort of thing. Well, I had a crappy weekend. I believe it was my allergy to silver birch pollen which caused me to feel like death warmed up all of Saturday and for chunks of Sunday. I made Stollen. Now, any of you who knows anything remotely about German Christmas will know that this is kinda fundamental to the Advent/Weihnachtsfesten they have.
