2010 was a year of losses. Lots of people lost their jobs. We (recently) lost two Falklands icons: the Harrier jump jet and, on 20th December, Brian Hanrahan (he'd been ill with cancer since March or so). We also lost the truly awesome Ark Royal. Yes, I've been off for a week, supposedly tidying the house. The back room is, however, in a worse state than it was before and the lounge hasn't significantly altered... Have just insured my bike for a £24 premium :) Put it in as £300 because I reckon a rack will be about £15. I was reading the manual last night and might have a go rejigging the brake levers on Friday or Saturday, and maybe even tilt the saddle a bit or something. Went out on site Wednesday: hired a Corsa-sized car (Class B in Enterprise terms) as usual and guess what turned up? A Vectra! That's three Enterprise-sizes bigger, and £6 more expensive (on normal rates)! They should charge us the Corsa rate, of course, because that's what I asked for.
