Can't be held responsible. She was touching her face.

Disregarding my first few entries, this is going to be a serious attempt to chronicle my daily trials, tribulations, and also taxidermy. I actually don't plan to have too much of any of those, but if I do for some reason, you'll be the first to read about it. However, chronicles of kevin will most likely be written down here. I spent today putting together a bunk-bed for me. It was pretty cool. It also gets my bed lower to the ground, which could be good or bad. Either way, it's different, and i like it. I also became a domestic adonis for a little while and baked 2 cakes and assembled 8 more. My pig-picking is coming up too. And yesterday, we won 2nd place at a quiz bowl tournament. It was pretty cool. The only teams that can beat us this year seem to be raleigh charter, science and math, and chapel hill. So maybe 4th in the state for smarts isn't too bad at all. We got demolished on some of the questions though. Literally 1/4 of the questions were about classical music or operas. With a team composed of me, big tom, brian hunt, and zach stutts, what were we supposed to do? We did what any true men would do. We answered, or, more correctly, i answered for our whole team "we got nothin'" a whole lot. However, second place, completely missing lots of questions does mean one thing. We rock some socks in other areas. We missed one sports question all day, and hardly ever missed a history question. Politics? owned that too. Japanese theatre? Actually, i got that one wrong, for which i felt retarded. OF the two kinds, Kibuki and Noh, i guessed Kibuki, and wouldn't you know it, it's Noh. If we had just said 'no' for our answer, we would have been right. I also got a question about the Tao Te Ching wrong, for which i felt completely retarded. I was impressed thought, the tournament was very well run and organized. Oh, and raleigh charter is built in what seems to be an old lowell mill type place. I was really expecting to turn a corner and see a 19 year old girl spinning thread, away from home for the first time, bonnet and all. Anyway, school starts in 8 hours, so I should go. Bye.
