Dear stomach
Please decide. Either give me a firm and unequivocal indication that you need to be emptied now, or don't. I've had enough with the spiky-ball sensation, thankyouverymuch, and although it's gone now (after about 8 hours), I would like to have my appetite back. It's (*looks at computer*) Sunday, and I'd like to have the strength to get things done before work, such as defeating the laundry monster and extracting usable crockery and cutlery from the washing up.
On the plus side, I have one lansoprazole pill left. I think I'm going to use it.
