Quickly dropping by to say that, after two nights of marathon work, things over here are finally organized and up to date. I don't know how I feel about the bright pink and blue color scheme (it's skewing a little punk rock nursery in my mind), but I'm gonna roll with it for now.
The indexes (indices? Does anyone care about proper pluralization of weird words like index?) are current and have much, much better information in them. Please be aware that indexes are only currently available for Grey's Anatomy fic. I don't think I've written enough SG-1 fic to warrant an index (though the main post of "Waves are Universal" is tagged as such, since it's handy with the navigation) because everything I've written thus far for that show is pretty readily available through the show:sg-1 tag.
Speaking of tags: tags are now hardcore. Multi-level tags are awesome and I have no idea what took me so long to use them over here since I've been having a love affair with multi-level tags (we've kept it classy and used upscale hotels, don't worry) in my personal journal for almost two years now. At any rate, they're here and they're amazing and make things really easy to find. Check the sidebar on the left or go to the tags page, which is also conviniently layered out. Some of the genre tags may not be applied in all the right places; I have a truly spectacular knot in my shoulder and should probably go to bed (the two are not necessarily related, but do explain why going through and making sure each fic has a genre attached to it is not on my list of things to do for the rest of this evening). Series' do not have pairing or genre tags. I could bullshit some reason for you about organizational needs and clogging up the genre:au tag beyond all usability, but the truth is that I'm extraordinarily lazy and it's way too much work to remember to tag the particular genre and pairing for each chapter of series. If you're wondering about the genre/pairing, hit up the Series Index page and it'll get you sorted straight.
The only thing that's still a bit of a disaster is the Biosphere index (which, in case you're a little bit perplexed by the name shift, is everything related to Dropsonde; there's an explanation somewhere, I'm sure). I'm still trying to figure out how best to organize that beast without it being a giant list of fifty-two chapters, over half of which haven't been written yet and some of which have giant gaps between the surrounding written chapters. I figure that's slightly less important, since it's at least all in the same spot. At some point, I will get a description up there of the universe and all that it entails because currently that's absolutely nowhere to be found until you actually find a related entry.
Anyway! Just wanted to let all you lovely people watching this community know about the updates and organization because it was kind of a mess beforehand (I think there were addison/derek and derek/addison tags, and I'm pretty sure there were fluff, smile, and aww tags because I went through a phase where things were going to be Cute instead of Practical) and now it's all happy and lovely and easy to find things!
