Not really, but I'm going to let it slide on account of me posting this Saturday evening and most people having lives and then it getting buried. *shrugs*

Hahn owns. I feel weird calling her Erica, though.

Just caught up on the last couple chapters and I can't tell you how much I love this fic... Caroline has Mark wrapped around her little finger. Yeah, it's about time Callie gets an official date!

Hahn and Cristina always around for support and to give their honest thoughts about their current situation:
“You sleeping with Sloan means that she doesn’t get to. Can we focus on the fact that I’m the only one of us not sleeping with anyone right now?”

"...explained sex in terms of Candyland and assumed that because Caroline never threw a fit that you were pulling it off.”

She's a cute three year-old, of course she does. ;)

Thank you!

The snark and witty banter in this chapter completely lifted my evening. I can't honestly think of anyone who would like Candyland after playing more than three times in a row, I would be borderline suicidal. At any rate, the slight angst of Caroline finally understanding the implications of "friends" and Hahn's little speech were all spot on. Still loving the slow progression. You are right, it is much more natural. Thanks!

I loved that game when I was three. And then I found it in a condo a bunch of friends and I were staying in over spring break one year and we played it and all of us had this "What the fuck was so entertaining about this game?" reaction.

♥ Thank you!

I enjoyed the conversations between adults - they are organic and very much in character. Once again, you captured Caroline as a three year-old very well. The delayed reaction to Mark and Callie's relationship is very much on target.

This is the first time, literally, that I've written something that does not include Addison so I'm kind of flying by the seat of my pants when it comes to everyone's dialogue since I never really seriously payed attention to any other storyline on the show. So I'm glad that I've nailed some of that.

Thank you!!

You know, I'm probably the bajillionth person to point this out, but.
He’d prefer to put things into grown-up terms but he’s watched his friend turn from a man who uses big words to explain little concepts to his daughter into a man who uses little words to explain big concepts and often needs to make references to Disney movies or Candyland. He has changed so much, but it has been so gradually you barely notice it unless you go back and look.

She nods energetically, missing her dad’s extra hugs at bedtime and father-daughter-only dinners and too young to understand that it might not be fair to either Callie or Mark. Ah, three year old logic. I would imagine it would be a huge deal to have Daddy not always have an empty bed. You capture her so well.

I am very much looking forward to Callie and Mark on a date, just to see how they are as grownups together in a real place. They neeed a kid escape for a little bit.

You are. But that's okay. :)

Three year-old logic often makes way more sense than adult logic. Man, I'd love it if my daily success was measured by how tall my stack of blocks was before a mean boy knocked it over.

Thank you.
