OK, some places that offer benefits... for most places you need to have a big-girl job, with normal-people hours. I assume this is what you want (who our age WOULDN'T like a job where they don't have to work weekends?) Anyway, being a receptionist at a salon is cool, but it may not getcha benefits. I think I got some ideas...

Nurse/nurse's assistant. Danielle Burton did this for a while, and to be a nurse's assistant, you don't need to come in with any extra training or anything. I don't know if they provide this near here, but they might.

Get a job at an office! You'd start out low (aka mail room like my mom) but move up within the company (most of which will train as you go, but may require a little field knowledge before ya start).

Work at one of the larger companies in the mall (like Yonkers, Marshall's, etc). Nikki worked at Mervyn's for a few months, and you might be surprised at the different opportunities there.

But mostly the idea is to stick to big corporations that have enough dough to afford things like a 401k and health/dental, and stay away from small buisnesses (aka: cj video) that will not offer benefits.

Hopefully that's helpful. =)

And if you don't come to my house Saturday nite, I'll cry and no one will have any fun because I'll be crying all over them. lol
