The Wizard of Oz is Dead...

Wow. I didn't see that one coming. Saw Wicked twice and definitely didn't see it coming. I didn't think celebrity affected me that much, but it's very sad that such a talented man isn't going to light up the stage anymore.

So... what's been happening in the world of theatre?

I auditioned for the Players production of RENT over the weekend, largely because of curiousity - I signed up for the auditions when I was having issues with the production team of the current production (since resolved), and because Mal is MDing - I worked with him in Millie and he's awesome.
