I have decided that I am going to university in Leeds, this is for many different reasons.
I am excited about the whole thing, and I have bought some lovely girly frilly things to cook with and use while I am there, including a Nigella Lawson (ha) baby blue teapot and a pink kettle.
I am still reading Ballard's Empire of the Sun, I am not sure what I think yet, I have not decided, but it is readable so far.
Work is horrifically dull and I do not know how people can work full time their whole lives without becoming utterly dispondent and disilluisoned. I am going to make sure that I do not end up becoming trapped by this bourgeois existance where hot gossip is who was called into whose office and whether or not someone has been using the milk in the fridge for cereal, or just for teas as they are supposed to.
