a good teacher is someone who constantly inspires, or seeks to inspire you in whichever field is being taught, someone who pushes you to be better, not by ridiculing or discouraging or breaking you down, but by inspiring the drive to be the best you can be.

i'd have to say that one of the most overlooked and underused tools in the practice of teaching is positive reinforcement.

not everyone is fit to be a teacher.
