1. Cynthia Leitich Smith, author and extraordinary promoter of kid lit, has sent word that her blogs, Cynsations and SpookyCyn, are unavailable while Blogger is being updated. For the time being, Cyn's talented author/hubbie is loaning her blog space at:

Also, Cyn's new YA novel, TANTALIZE, is in stores Tuesday, February 13th! I got to hear her read from this last summer, and it is very funny-and fun. Plus, I expect it to be a bit sexy and scary. There are vampires and Italian restaurants involved.
I'm so bummed, though: I ordered the book from Amazon and, when you do that, you (usually) get the book a day early. However, Amazon is shipping all my books together, and because I also ordered a book that isn't out until March, it said it wasn't shipping my order until March. I'm bummed I have to wait. This is how much I can't wait to read this book!
