What I Love About You...

The sparkle in your eye,
The warmth of your skin.
Your breath on my neck,
That quivers within.

The touch of your hand,
The smell of your hair.
The kindness in your smile,
That strength in your stare.

Your kiss on my lips,
Your body near mine.
The stroke of your touch,
That feeling inside.

The sound of your voice,
Compassion in your embrace.
The serenity in your stride,
The power in your face.

The calming of your presence,
The beating of your heart.
The promise of tomorrow,
That we may never part.

The beauty of your kiss,
and that magic in your touch.
It is for all these reasons and more,
Why I love you so much.

Perfrect Dream
Laying at your side,
the sun dancing on the sheets.
You lean your head on me,
such a sweet treat.
Stealing a kiss, you smile,
with your hand on mine.
Your eyes looking over my face,
these two hearts are trying.
Trying to make others believe
that our love isn't a game.
From the moment we met,
our lives seemed so much the same.
Sitting up in my bed,
you looked over and whispered to me.
You said so few words,
and I love You was all i could see.
Time has no say in our lives,
we could spend a day in one room.
As long as we were together
there was no such time as noon.
We made our lives one,
and experienced a second in a day.
Nothing but my name on your lips,
our lives are perfect this way.
Our feet paddered after eachother,
down the steps, through the living room.
Laughs are heard through the halls,
others would be awake soon.
Sitting on the kitchen counter,
you stand in front of me.
Smiling, I knew you had won the chase,
there was no time for me to flee.
You took my hand,
and kissed me on the forehead.
Then walked away from my side,
the others were awake from their beds.
Standing up I called out your name,
you turned to me and smiled.
I walked to you and took your hand,
my feet bare on the kitchen tile.
I kissed you and held on,
their feet were on the steps, but i didn't let go.
For a moment it felt like heaven,
but I wasn't sure, i didn't know.
Their eyes caught glimpse of us,
and smiles filled their face.
I let go of you and stepped back,
you stood there, frozen in your place.
All of us were there in the room,
what was left to do?
You took my hand and smiled,
my love for you is true.
Our feet were back on the steps,
and the bed was no longer empty.
Laying there you held on,
I prayed that you really loved me.
After time passed we got up,
my feet again met with the floor.
We sat down and ate,
everything was perfect with you there.
We finished and went outside,
the creek was empty, and my feet still bare.
Then morning came without fail,
the alrm clock wouldn't stop, so it seemed.
I didn't want to get up,
and end such a perfect dream.
Off to school, sitting in the car,
the sun made the sky a silver blue.
Thinking to myself,
I wrote on an empty page,
Do dreams really come true?

LONGING
all i wanted was to hear you say;
that you loved me and would never sway;
but your words came from so far away;
to remind me i'll be alone today.
all i wanted was to see you;
all i wanted was to be with you;
all i needed was to reach you;
i had all i need to complete you.
but holding your heart i'll be strong;
humming the bars to the same old song;
i feels so good it can't be wrong;
but every day seems so long.
i wanted to hold you so i can say;
i can feel your touch everyday;
its a strange caress from gostly hands;
scratching my skin like grains of sand.
i dont know what i would do if you were here;
but whisper to you my dear;
that for you i would gladly die;
and carry your words to where i lie.
but i'm left longing for the kiss;
from the boy 'touch i miss;
if i could take your hand ;
and walk u though the shadow land.
and when we came though the other side;
id make a spot for you to hide;
and there on the edge of darkness we'd complete ;
the circle that was meant to be.
