Since this summer, I have noticed a disturbing trend in myself and the people around me. The Hummel first pointed to a mutual friend as an example. "Have you noticed there is a 'good B-----' and a 'bad B-----?'" B----, was, depending on the day, either extremely fun or unbearable. I have since discovered that there is a 'good' and a 'bad' version of almost everyone I know -- including me.
I have gotten pretty good at identifiying the traits of the 'good' and 'bad' versions of my friends. We are unflattering caricatures of ourselves and almost have a personality apart from our 'good' or even 'regular' selves.
It becomes a little tricky when 'bad me' is out because 'bad me' assumes 'bad everyone-else' is out too. I'm just getting a nervous because 'bad me' seems to be out more than I would like these days.
The question remains: Who woke up this morning?
Sincerely,
Good or Bad Me
