Today

Today was a good day. This is marked by a number of points:

• I got a whole lot of nice, dressy new clothes. I like them a lot. They look good. I think I am going to start dressing up more (less t-shirt + jeans, more slacks / button-downs.) Also, I got a black leather jacket and another black jacket that both look really great and have tons of pockets.
• I had hamburgers for lunch. Real, grilled-on-a-grill-outside-my-house hamburgers. Rare. Mmm.
• I'm going to eat dinner tonight at my favorite pizza place, Salvatore's, out in Port Washington.
• I had my first ever real conversation with irisamergin. It turns out that she really is as cool as her LJ suggests, minus all the angst.

And that's my day on a stick. I'm going for pizza.
