I'm really very shocked at how long it's been since I last posted. I have several habits when I sit down at my computer, one of which is to check out my friends page on Livejournal to see if anyone has posted anything interesting. (Which I have to say, hasn't been very common over the last year or so.) As often as I must be checking in on Livejournal, it seems rather strange that it's taken me this long to actually post something. I guess the checking in has become routine but the posting never really was. I think one of my goals last year was to journal more.....

Ah well.

Way too many things have happened since my last post. I'm not sure I'll even write about all of them. I think part of me not posting anything is due to the fact that my life - per usual - is in somewhat a state of limbo. I swear it's never ending. Someday.....

Gary and I are doing very well. We've had a bizarre year, which is part of what I'll leave out until things get back to a more normal state. Nothing bizarre with our relationship, just bizarre life things. Our relationship is great and as cliche as it is to say it, I swear I just love him more every single day. We are finally and actually very close to closing on my Grandparents' house and getting started with the massive amounts of renovating that the house requires. We truly can't wait. It has a been a crazy adventure getting to this point with the house, and I'm sure the adventure will continue once we get started with the huge project of getting it fixed up and beautiful and ready to live in. Exciting!

I don't even know when I last posted, but I do know lots and lots has changed. Dana had her baby. (Who is turning one this weekend - crazy.) She is the sweetest and cutest and most wonderful little creature named Riley. None of us can get enough and everyone is of course dying for me and Gare to get on the baby bandwagon. We are thinking after the house is done and we've gotten a chance to live there together for a bit, we'll be ready. Truthfully, if we had our lives more put together (which is a fault of mine much more than of his) we'd be pretty close to baby time now. Riley has really made Gare want to be a dad, which I think is precious. He's great with her and I know he's going to be a wonderful father..... someday. :)

I am going back to school this spring. I actually start next Tuesday. I'm going to Slippery Rock (commuting Tues/Thurs) for elementary ed. I'm excited, but a little nervous. I feel very far removed from college and the college lifestyle. Hopefully being around a bunch of 18-21 year old kids won't completely drive me crazy. We'll see.

So much more to talk about. Don't want to talk about any of it. Let's see how long I'm away this time......

*Side note: Mike moved away and I hate it.
