Wedding Woes
I am so far behind on wedding planning at this point that I am seriously considering pushing the date back by a year or something. Everything that seems like it will work keeps falling through. Caterers who I talk to continually but suddenly don't ever get back to me, DJ's who say they think they're free that day but then aren't or advertise a great price but really charge a jillion dollars, a friend who was supposed to do my flowers but bailed because she "doesn't think she can handle it", and just way too many other things like that.
So, here I am, less than 6 months until my wedding with no caterer, DJ, or florist and parents with too many kids and not enough money to pay for expensive things that seem to be the only ones available. Basically I have a church, a preacher, the singers, my dress, the reception sight, and the bridal party. Might seem like a lot, but honestly, that is nothing. I'm so screwed. Anyone who likes to plan weddings and wants to help me, let me know because I am in over my head and no one in my family seems to give a shit since the appeal and excitement of a family wedding flew out the window as soon as Dana's was over.
Ugh.
