Protesting!
So, there are supposed to be large immigration (pro) protests in LA tomorrow. In fact, some of the marching is suppose to be right by my apartment, which means traffic hell, as well as an easy opportunity to join in. I would have to go alone though, which is ok, but not the ideal situation. Maybe I will just head down to Wilshire and lend my support but not march. I already filled my car and made sure I didn't have to buy anything tomorrow (the economic impact aspect of the protest). I may have to cross lines to get a coffee from the Starbucks...depends on if I can hold out. I do have some nice black tea here, so perhaps I can handle the withdrawal.
I am intrigued to see what goes on. It is amusing, I move from DC, protest central, and land in the city, and actually the neighborhood some major protests are happening. Incidentally I took a trip to San Francisco a few years ago when there were fairly good sized protests in the downtown area there. Apparently dissension and I are close subconscious friends.
