Oh the joys of kayaking.
I think the more I go kayaking the more addicted I get. I am starting to have more and more of a desire to hit class IV rapids. As I run more rivers that have them and find myself getting through them without even flipping much less having to roll I am getting mor confidence which is cool. The Wenatchee in the past has been my favorite but now I think I am really likeing the middle middle run on the Snoqualmie river. Wenatchee definately has some points to it that rival other rivers but it is still only class III maybe III+ where as the middle middle has some class IV sections that test my skills more which is really fun! The wenatchee will always have a special draw just because it has the awesome big water effect. going through things like drunkards drop and snowblind are way cool.
Tpoday I got to work early so I could hit up the Middle Middle after work. there is a small ceremony for a new public access point that is going in so that should be cool. And afterwards a bunch of people are going to head down the river. So I hope to join in on the fun and show my support fo the work that the WKC club leaders have put forth to help develop more public access points to our local rivers.
