SECTION ONE: The "Favorite Things" Questions
1. Your favorite KH guy?
So, so very hard for me to choose. I'll have to say Sora, because he's adorkable and optimistic and brave, and I think anyone else would've given up long before accomplishing what he did.
2. Your favorite KH girl?
Larxene. She is such a bitch, I absolutely adore her.
3. Your least favorite KH guy? Why?
Xaldin. I don't hate him, but you don't get to see more than "I rip apart men's hearts to make my own." Gimme some dimensions to work with, dude!
4. Your least favorite KH girl? Why?
Argh... Fuu? She's monosyllabic and she doesn't get to do much other than walk around and sneer at people who aren't Rai or Seifer.
5. Favorite World? (Includes both KH1 and KH2)
I think my all-time favorite world would have to be Traverse Town, because it's like the home base; I missed it in KH2.
6. Least Favorite World?
Monstro. At first I kept getting lost, and all I could think of was how fucked up Monstro's anatomy was. Perhaps swallowing all of that darkness affected his insides...
7. Favorite Weapon? (Includes both KH1 and KH2)
Oblivion; it looks awesome, you don't have to do anything particularly special to get it, and it packs enough of a punch to get the job done.
8. Least Favorite Weapon?
Mysterious Abyss; I never really had a particular reason to use it. At least I could use the Photon Debugger while I was fighting the second boss in Port Royale, but the blizzard boost keyblade was basically useless.
9. Fave. Summon? (includes both KH1 and KH2)
Stitch; I wouldn't have been able to get all of the orbs needed in the Underdrome to complete the journal entries without him. *strums an imaginary ukulele*
10. Fave. Form? (aka. Sora's Forms)
Master, baby. He had all of those nifty abilities and the Master form leveled up the quickest. Aesthetically, I loved Sora's Valor and Wisdom forms, because I believe that his favorite colors are red and blue, and he looks good wearing them. Final was okay because of the gliding aspect, but seriously. Took way too long to level up. Stupid Nobodies.
11. Favorite Pairing? (includes yaoi coupling) Why?
Riku/Sora. They're the pairing in the middle of it all, the one that started the whole series in the first place. They're unconditional love, they're a long-term relationship, they can trust each other to take care of things.
12. Least Fave. Pairing? (includes yaoi couples) Why?
Um... lately I've been getting annoyed with Zexion/Demyx because most people seem to be writing it now based on fanon, not on the actual characters.
13. Any cool KH crack pairings you've heard of?
Crack pairings? What, like Goofy and Sora? I once read a fic that had Riku getting off on Sora wearing Mickey ears while they had sex...
14. Weirdest Pairing(s) You've Ever Heard Of?
Isn't that the same thing as the crack pairing question? I've seen a Donald/Sora fic floating around out there too...
15. Any "KH-pet-peeves" you have?
How the lock-on controls are different in each game (specifically, sifting through the locking options), and how I have to remember that you rotate the view with the right analog stick in CoM and KH2, but not in KH1. That and how Sora pauses sometimes after following through on a combo. "Stop showing off, Sora, you're about to get kicked in the face!"
16. Fav. Partner in KH? (includes both KH1 and KH2)
Well, Riku. Duh. I hit "Session" over and over again and just watch them kill things together. That and hit "Dark Shield" and "Dark Aura" and yell, "My boyfriend's gonna kick your ass!"
SECTION TWO: Do you believe it, or not believe it?
17. Do you believe in the Xemnas/Saix theory?
Sure, why not? Xemnas is full of himself and Saix is an ass-kisser; they're a match made in heaven.
18. Do you believe that Zexion is emo?
Actually... no. He's intense, he's perceptive, but he isn't moping in the basement, he's just observing. His hair's in his face, but that doesn't make him emo.
19. Do you believe that Marluxia is gay?
I think he goes for both sexes, and possibly for those younger than him, like Namine or Sora. However, I don't think he would act on his attraction; Marluxia seems like the type of guy who's... above sex? Like, it doesn't do anything for him, he doesn't stand to gain anything from it, so why give it a second thought?
20. Do you believe that Kairi is the most annoying character in KH?
No, I love Kairi. Two guys would not call Kairi one of their best friends if she were something to roll their eyes at. When she can, she's ready to fight and gives it her all, and she's intent on protecting the people she cares about. Just because she's a girl who happens to love her friends doesn't mean she "gets in the way" or whatever. Kairi's totes the quintessential fag hag, yo.
SECTION THREE: Answer Yourself!
21. If Roxas had to choose either Naminé or Olette, who would you root for? Why?
Huh? Um... Namine. I believe that Olette totally digs Pence, and Namine and Roxas already had a connection in the White Room (with black curtains... but not really).
22. What's your theory on "Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep?"
Absolutely no idea. I'm just glad I have a PS3. My friend Kevin was wondering if Ven is Sora's father. *shrugs*
23. Was Chain of Memories a waste of time?
Actually, that game gives you such a deeper look into Sora, Riku, and Axel's personalities that I'm surprised it doesn't get more love. I mean... Axel is a bastard in that game, responsible for two deaths and unmoved by both. Also, all of these people who support Zemyx... how can you if you don't know anything about Zexion, who's only in CoM (so far, anyway)? Of course, I'm more of a Lexaeus/Zexion girl myself. And I'm in love with Larxene and Marluxia, who I believe is the only Nobody so far (besides Axel) who's actually made my eyes get huge with the creepy possibilities.
24. If you had the choice of meeting ONE (and ONLY ONE!) KH character, who would it be?
Sora. That would be one hell of a good time. He's more of a people person, anyway.
25. Which KH character do you relate to the most? Why?
Sora, actually. At least, my thought process seems to be relatively similar to his. I also happen to love how Axel reacts to situations, how he thinks. All I know is I'm going to be sad when I won't be playing the games as Sora anymore, but hey, Axel's in at least one more (that I can't play anyway), right?
26. What's the most embarrassing moment that ever happened to you that had something to do with KH?
Fighting the Phantom. I got rather buzzed first, and then I had to restart the game three times because I kept forgetting to do something, like switch out Goofy with Peter Pan, give them Ethers omg, and customize my shortcuts.
Also, I screamed like a... girl when I beat Sephiroth. I thought it sucked that you couldn't fight him over and over again in the second game like you could in the first, though. And isn't there a "One-Winged Angel" card somewhere in CoM? I didn't bother looking for it because I wanted to fight Marluxia. Oh, and that boss fight was ridiculously easy, btw; it was basically laying out the land for all of Riku's portion, since you just have to worry about your zero cards in his half too.
27. Have you every cosplayed as one of the characters?
Nah, but my sister has plans to be Axel for Halloween, and Britt'll be doing something Sora-related that will be awesome and icon-worthy (hopefully really soon).
28. The Funniest Moment in all of KH would be...?
In "Kingdom Hearts":
"Cheeeeeese!" and "Sora go-go." Also, I love when Sora sees Riku in Traverse Town, and the first thing he does is stretch out his face.
In "Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories":
When Donald is trying to hit Marluxia with his magic. "Thunder. THUNDER! Blizzard! FIRE!"
In "Kingdom Hearts II":
When Sora and Auron run away from Cerberus after paddling him, and Donald, Goofy, and Sora make funny faces at him as the cave closes. That and Sora knowing that the man in black was Riku because he was rude to the emperor.
29. The Hardest Enemy/Boss was...?
KHI: A tie between Dragon Maleficent (until I remembered I had Tinkerbell omg) and Riku II (until I remembered I had the glide ability wtf?). As far as optional bosses are concerned, Kurt Zisa annoyed the hell out of me with his magic lock and his spinning attacks, and Sephiroth seems to be absolutely ridiculous until you get the hang of his fight patterns. Then you can glide over and cut him off mid-"Descend Heartless Angel" and have him squawk indignantly while you combo the fuck out of him.
CoM: Larxene. I had to fight her, like, thirteen times before I finally killed her with a lucky hit from an Oblivion six card. When she asked how something like this could happen, I was basically nodding and going, "I know, right? It's unbelievable! *frantic saving*"
KHII: Um... Xaldin? The first time I fought him, I was drastically under-leveled. I still beat him the first time through and I didn't need Mickey to show up and save the day (I'm thinking of dying on purpose so Mickey can "get spanked by Xaldin," as apparently that's what happens, according to my sister), but he kept hitting me with his lances (heh) and I hadn't yet figured out how to work the "Learn" reaction command because I was too busy healing to notice the "Jump" part.
30. What was a good addition in KH2 that made it oh-so-addictive?
The reaction commands? I spent a lot of time leveling up the forms too, and filling out the journal.

Larxene. Seriously. Bitch. I love her so much, from messing around with every single guy around her to the way she refuses to die, even as she's fading. I mean, everyone accuses Kairi of being a cockblocker, right? But Larxene's the one running around and groping everyone.

SoRiku, it was my first KH pairing, it represents a relationship that's... matured? Two equals complimenting each other, challenging each other to be more. While I love AkuRoku, it's more like first love, all-consuming, flips you over and leaves you winded and unsure of exactly where you stand. Or what the hell just happened.
38. Namixas or Namiku?
Oh man, once again, I love both. The thought of Riku and Namine working together while Sora's sleeping? I felt so sorry for Namine when she had to offer those tough choices to Sora and Riku and be rejected by both (even though Riku chose to keep his memories, it meant he was choosing Sora, not Namine's help). However, I'm going to have to say Namine and Roxas because they have that understanding between them, being Nobodies who don't have their own "shells," who are supposed to fade but don't.
39. Zemyx or AkuRoku?
AkuRoku, because there's actual canon evidence that it exists.
40. SoKai or SoRiku?
SoRiku, even though I have an idea for a SoKai... it's more friendship than anything else, but it does involve nudity.
41. Sea Salt Ice Cream or Paopu Fruit?
The Paopu Fruit, because Riku totes want to share one with Sora, yo. However, I love the Sea Salt Ice Cream too... some of these choices are too hard.
42. Cloud or Leon?
Cloud, because he needs a number. And apparently his number is 42.
43. CloTi or Clerith?
Clerith. I always got more of a really close friendship vibe off of Cloud and Tifa, while Cloud and Aerith was just so... refreshing and simple and tragic. Of course, that's going by FFVII. But in KH, Cloud doesn't really stick around for very long whenever Tifa's in the area (except for when they're fighting together in the Paradox Cups, which was awesome, even if they were trying to beat the shit out of me), but I absolutely loved when Aerith caught up to him in the Marketplace.
44. Simple and Clean or Passion?
Passion. It sounds like a resolution, like what each and every single character in the game was waiting for or something. Like, everyone's been through some awful things, but maybe now they can start to mend.

Sora, Riku, Kairi, Selphie, Roxas, Axel, Namine, Demyx, Xigbar, Lexaeus, Zexion, Larxene, Marluxia, Hayner, Olette, Pence, Seifer, Auron, Leon, Cloud, Yuffie, Aerith, and why doesn't it say anything about listing Disney characters?
46. What crossovers would you like to see with KH?
Heh. Actually, I think it would be great if the original KH characters got sucked into the 'verse of FFVII, and they're all just kind of staring in awe at Cloud and wondering how the hell he's still alive, and with the drive to stay that way. That, and I believe Sora and Zack are so much alike it would have everyone wondering if summoning Meteor is really such a bad idea. That and Axel and Reno would be like, "..." "..." And so on.
47. Does anyone in KH look like another character? List 'em all!
Er... well, as I just sort of mentioned, Axel and Reno. And then there's the fact that silver-haired characters are all over the place. Oh, and in the first game, I thought Cloud was going to be Vincent until the camera went up past his pants. Seriously, the gauntlet and the cape? "We couldn't have him in the game but we knew you'd be pissed, so we just made you anticipate him for three seconds so you'd be even more pissed."
48. Which new KH game can you absolutely NOT wait for?
Well, I won't be able to play 358/2 (I got the numbers right too, Casey!) Days, but if I can afford Birth by Sleep, I'll be able to pull rank on my sister and use her PS3.
49. Do you like KH1 or KH2 better? Why?
Well, the first one has Traverse Town and young!voice Sora, and obsessive!Riku, and Maleficent talking about something other than castles. Seriously, in the second game, whenever Maleficent shows up, my sister and I just talk over her with, "Castles! Castles! Blah, want the castle, castle! CASTLE! BLARGH! MY CASTLE!"
However, the second game has more cool things to do, and the game is... smoother. And has more original characters who are fun to watch.

But in KH, Cloud doesn't really stick around for very long whenever Tifa's in the area (except for when they're fighting together in the Paradox Cups, which was awesome, even if they were trying to beat the shit out of me), but I absolutely loved when Aerith caught up to him in the Marketplace.

Passion. It sounds like a resolution, like what each and every single character in the game was waiting for or something. Like, everyone's been through some awful things, but maybe now they can start to mend.

46. What crossovers would you like to see with KH?
Heh. Actually, I think it would be great if the original KH characters got sucked into the 'verse of FFVII, and they're all just kind of staring in awe at Cloud and wondering how the hell he's still alive, and with the drive to stay that way. That, and I believe Sora and Zack are so much alike it would have everyone wondering if summoning Meteor is really such a bad idea. That and Axel and Reno would be like, "..." "..." And so on.
47. Does anyone in KH look like another character? List 'em all!
Er... well, as I just sort of mentioned, Axel and Reno. And then there's the fact that silver-haired characters are all over the place. Oh, and in the first game, I thought Cloud was going to be Vincent until the camera went up past his pants. Seriously, the gauntlet and the cape? "We couldn't have him in the game but we knew you'd be pissed, so we just made you anticipate him for three seconds so you'd be even more pissed."
48. Which new KH game can you absolutely NOT wait for?
Well, I won't be able to play 358/2 (I got the numbers right too, Casey!) Days, but if I can afford Birth by Sleep, I'll be able to pull rank on my sister and use her PS3.
49. Do you like KH1 or KH2 better? Why?
Well, the first one has Traverse Town and young!voice Sora, and obsessive!Riku, and Maleficent talking about something other than castles. Seriously, in the second game, whenever Maleficent shows up, my sister and I just talk over her with, "Castles! Castles! Blah, want the castle, castle! CASTLE! BLARGH! MY CASTLE!"
However, the second game has more cool things to do, and the game is... smoother. And has more original characters who are fun to watch.
50. LAST QUESTION! What makes Kingdom Hearts one of the best games in the world!?
I don't even know. All of the introspective "what makes a heart" and "what is friendship"? And all of them are so pretty.
