My life and trip update. :)

Okay so someone totally messed with my clocks while I was away. It went way too quickly. 5 weeks should never feel like a week. :( I had the most amazing trip. Met some really amazing people on my tour. Most of them were also Australia which is cool cause now we can keep in contact and catch up, but strange cause I traveled half way around the world and ended up touring with 40 other Aussies could've done that here. :P

Everyone keeps asking me my favourite place that I visited. I can't really pin point one place that stood out, there were too many. New York was amazing, I need to go back there, didn't have enough time to see everything I wanted to see, New Orleans was so much fun... 'I got bourbon faced on shit street' I now wish I bought that t-shirt! Las Vegas was epic, I had a blast (might also have something to do with a special someone flying out to spend the last 4 days of my trip with me) But just in general Vegas was so much fun. I WILL be going back there for sure.

I know someone will be reading this and waiting for me to say Orlando.... and yes Orlando was amazing in so many ways. And not just because of Universal and Harry Potter world (although that could've topped the trip to Orlando). :P I'm kidding Kel <3 but because thats where I met the most amazing girl. I know some of you are after the juicy details... but its not going to happen... Sorry. :P Just know that I had the most amazing 2 days in Orlando, followed by the most amazing 4 days in Vegas. I couldn't have been happier, I don't actually remember I time when I was that happy. :) It just sucked having to say goodbye and leave. :( But now I can count down to June... just 6 months till she comes out here for 2 weeks if everything continues to fall into place.

Now its back to reality. I've been home for 2 weeks, back at work for a week now. Was off work sick with a chest infection the first week I got home. So it gave me a total of 6 weeks off work. :P Oh well at least I didn't get the infection while I was on tour. That would've sucked so much. So now I'm trying to pay off my credit card and then I want to save again to try and get back there again at the end of next year. :) Things are starting to fall into place with my life and it feels amazing. There are still a few hurdles to cross, but I'm confident that they wont be too big of an issue. *fingers crossed*

I'm also looking at getting a new job next year... well there is about a 95% chance that its going to happen just need to upgrade my license to a manual (stick) gotta start learning... which should be fun. Lol. See my dad works for a seismic testing company and he's offered me a job. It requires me to go out on field and live in a camp site out bush, for 4-6 weeks at a time then come home for 2 weeks. Work would be 12 hrs a day, 7days a week for the 4-6 weeks. Its not exactly hard work, but its long days, sometimes walking up to 15km (9miles) a day. But the money is amazing... its about $22 an hour, but when you're working 12 hr days, 7 days a week, living on site not paying rent and all meals included (they have onsite chefs) it adds up.

So with that I'm starting to think about my future and what it could hold, I can finally buy myself a car (I don't mind walking) but I wouldn't be limited to certain areas. And I can look into buying myself a house, or more a 2 bedroom duplex/apartment/town house. I'm excited about my furture now. And after doing 'crew' and getting used to the job, my dad is going to train me up to be a OHS so then my pay will go up again. And not just that its a career. Once I get experience and I no longer want to work the 4-6 weeks on 2 weeks off, I can get employed by other companies as a OHS and make a living out of it.

The other benefit I see right now is that I can work for like 4-6 weeks, my pay just sits in my account till I get home and in the 2 weeks I have off I can just go on holidays. Thailand, Hawaii, Vegas... where ever I want to head for those 2 weeks I can. :)

Anyways that was my ramble for the moment.. since I haven't in a while. :P I'm going to post some pics from my holiday and of Kel (yes we have the same name, except I spell it the right way with a y at the end. :P) and I. I wonder if I'll get in trouble *shrugs* probably not. :P It'll probably take her awhile to realise anyways. :P
