I'm SoOoOoO Ready!!!
7 Days!!!! Well, in about 16 minutes anyway. I was packing tonight and my closet is now empty...it's kind of sad, but it's a good feeling knowing that I'm going to go back to being on my own. I can't wait to get back!!!!!!!! I'm so ready for this coming week...sleepless, yes....busy, you bet....am I dreading it? Nope! Bring it on!!
So I think I've changed a little this Summer...I think I've become more confident with myself. I think, or am hoping, I'm more toned and stuff....For the past 2 weeks I've been watching what I eat and have been running a mile everyday, so I'm hoping it will all pay off. I think my attitude has changed too. I'm more grown up..I think. I've been making some good decisions and I think my parents have noticed, so I get to go to school and act like a colllege student!! YAY!! About time!!!!
So I have a hair appointment on Wednesday. I'm not totally sure what I want to do with it. I know it needs to be trimmed, but I don't know if I should cut al otof it off or just a little trim. HMMM...I wonder. Should I get it highlighted too? I was going to, but now I don't know. I'll ask my neighbor who's doing it..Since she's a hairdresser she's been cutting my hair since I was a baby...so she knows what looks right on me.
So I worked tonight and I was waitressing. I had one table all night!! I was there for 4 hours and had 1 table!! Damn patio. BUtthe good thing was my boss paid me as if I had hosted, so instead of $3.30, I got $7.00 an hour...not too bad. I had to say goodbye to some people tonight. They were all kind of sad, but I was like "I'll see you next summer."
So my day was kind of uneventful. I woke up, ran, showered, hung around the house and cleaned my room, worked, came home (to a house full of people) and packed..now I'm here updating the good ol' journal. I'm so tired and tomorrow I can actually sleep in!!! I do have to have my Dad un-mount my refridgerator from the garage wall though...OK, story. I came home from work on day early in the summer and my Dad takes me to the garage. I look on the wall and my fridge is mounted to the wall!! I open it and it's full of beer!!!! Now, at this point, I'm like "YESSS!!" and I'm like "Am I going to get this back?" So now I have to get it down tomorrow and clean it.
I was talking to Katy today and I'm going to miss last year so much!! Late night pimple popping fests in the bathroom, Tuesday TV nights, getting ready to go out on a Friday or Saturday, burning the microwave popcorn, showing Katy and Tara my underwear of the day, having Kelly right across the hall and practically bumping heads when someone called our name, lunches at Cranston, looking at the nailpolish stain on my floor, the climb to the 3rd floor, busting in on Marilyn, ALL OF IT!!! This year should be great though. I mean come on, co-ed dorms!! Plus we'll all be in different buildings, so we'll be meeting so many new people. It should be a great time!
Well, this got a lot longer then I wanted it to. I really have to start working on the lengths of these things. I'll talk to you all later and so a summer recap or something. Bye guys!!
