About time I make an update...
Ok, so RCFM was a blast. It was great seeing all you guys there, can't wait to see everyone at MFM. I'm definitely going to fursuit there, and my head is halfway finished. Now if only I could find my hot glue gun O.o
Came home to find a baby goat that wasn't there before. Beauty kidded Sunday morning, and had an enormous girl. I kid you not, this thing is a monster. But she's so cute! Eee ^^ Everything else has been fine on the farm, plus we found a rather unexpected surprise in our pasture. Our cattle somehow made their way to the upper half of the ranch, which is ok. We return home and do a head count... there's one too many. Upon closer inspection, we discover a mystery bull. He's not ours, and apparently not the neighbors (they raise longhorns, this guy is a black angus). And this isn't some plain jane run of the mill bull... this guy must weigh at least 3000lbs, has ear tags (we're still calling around trying to find the owner), and looks like a show bull. I mean... damn. So he's breeding our cows, which we're fine with, while we locate the owner. I think it's fair enough, since the bull broke fences to get onto our property, and is hanging around until the owner is found, that should equal stud fees.
Also, our shetland filly Clover is about to turn one, and her adult coat is finally coming in. But now she's got huge ugly clumps of fur hanging from her belly. She's gonna be a beauty once she smoothes out.
