Too briefly and too vaguely, as is (was?) the Superior's usual.

...What a time for this as well!

We'll need a status update on Roxas' standing.

Of course.

And, of course Xemnas would pick such a wonderful time.

Indeed, but I suspect it will take some time to get him to talk about the ordeal.

At least we emerge from the chaos 'heroes'. Ironic, isn't it?

If my suspicions are correct, he had been planning for some time.

Understandably. I'll see what I can manage. Perhaps he'll be more willing to speak to a closer friend...and then perhaps we'll hear the whole of what happened.

I was thinking the same thing myself. Yet, I have not heard a single "thank you" so far.

I wonder if his removal from World's End was factored in.

Perhaps, but he has seemed rather distant even from them as of late.

They recover. Surely the light in their hearts will have dwindled weary over suffering, and so gratitude is a thing easily ignored. Have patience, and expect little return. Praise for our work has never been a necessity. We've had quite enough coddling...

[There's something cooled and pensive, but distinctly bothered in his voice. Faceless memories which should be sharper.] ...in our time, have we not?

Are you so sure that's what he has done?

Roxas is one so many unusual circumstances. That is not particularly surprising, but worth investigation.

It is a possibility. [He'll just 'hmph' at that last bit. Necessary or not, he'd still like it.]

That is my assumption. Perhaps he is merely back into hiding, planning yet again. Perhaps not.

As he always has been.

It would seem our primary goals have slid far off track. I am concerned.
