The last few days have been nothing short of horrible. The Castle raided, my laboratory ruined, beaten unconscious and taken by Discordia's riders...only to be released and given an offer by the goddess. The nerve, putting me through such torment just for a small discussion.
Nonetheless, the gift that I was given...this laboratory...is brilliant. Oh, think of the experiments I will be able to carry out in this fine establishment.
...Even without a heart, I still manage to get...excited, over something like this.
The upcoming meeting is guaranteed to be interesting. Not only with the recent events on the agenda to discuss, there is the rumor that the Superior may be lurking around the city. If he really is here, there is no doubt that he will make an appearance at the meeting.
...I am not so sure that his arrival is a positive thing.
[The first minute of the sound feed is of the usual sounds of a laboratory, which can be heard faintly in the background. Machines beeping, flasks bubbling on their burners, the works. From the sound of it, the Organization's scientist has returned to the Castle and cleaned up his laboratory.
Eventually the sound of shaky breathing can be heard, but it is quickly cut off by a harsh cough.]
Hello? I do hope the recording device in this communicator still functions. I can only imagine what the riders did to it with it in their possession.
[His voice is raspy and quiet. The choking he got from the collar didn't have a very good effect on him.
He assumes that the thing is working and continues talking.]
Have all of those taken captive returned? I have heard peculiar stories about some that have found their way back. As though...they are not themselves. Would anyone care to elaborate?
How are repairs coming along? I have been busy with the laboratory, and I have yet to venture up to have a look at the current state of the Castle. I have managed to clean up the laboratory, but some holes in the floor still remain.
