One! With slots, I use them fluidly. For instance, Bluebelle Confetti is currently occupying the Architecture slot. Once she quits, the slot is open for another sim, but not until the following rotation. So if she quit at the start of Week A, no other sim could have it until Week B.
Two! Correcto. 1 Community Business = 1 CAS. 1 Business District = 5 CAS. 1 Downtown (you can only have 1) = 20 CAS. 1 University = 5 CAS, which do not HAVE to be uni students.
Three! You total the number of all occupied/owned lots in the neighbourhood. Every 10th is a slot in Architecture. If you have 4 households, 3 businesses and 1 community lot, that's 8 total lots. A spreadsheet is really handy for keeping track of this

Ah, I'll probably play it like that as well. Music is however currently unlocked so sims in need of cash can at least join that one :/ I really need to help my little Svedala family pay off their mortages or they'll have to sell Inga's store back to the community and I really don't want to do that!

Yeah, I decided to count the base as an apartment-buidling instead. It was so much fun to play, haha! Will put a post up with the layout of the place soon as well. I'm quite happy with the results!
I was thinking about using the "can't afford it- can't have it" approach, but with the hacked computer it was just so easy to borrow money lol. And the Dawes got the genie-lamp, lol. So I'm hoping for something similar for the Svedala's, haha!
