Had a doubleheader yesterday. Won the first game 15-8, lost the second game 8-15. Our team is ridiculously huge, and the new additions (including myself) are still figuring out our roles. As the scores show, the first game was a pushover, and the second... quite hard. The other team was running a horizontal stack to good effect, and was playing hard D on the handlers. Meanwhile, we had a ridiculous amount of clogging and picks which resulted in crappy continuation cuts and no flow. Hopefully we'll get it together as we play more.
However, in the first game, I almost got a Callahan off my own pull! Wound up stripping it from the female handler, but perhaps if I had laid out or accelerated harder? You don't get too many opportunities, so kind of miffed that I didn't go full out for it, but it's not like it really mattered anyway.
Also, it was pretty nice having so many people come out for the doubleheader. I think we must've had about 20 people there!
